What is rear park assist?

Rear park assist is a technology feature in vehicles that helps drivers park their car by alerting them of obstacles behind the vehicle. The system uses sensors mounted at the rear of the vehicle to detect objects in the blind spot and provides visual or audible warnings to the driver. Rear park assist is especially helpful in tight parking spaces or when reversing out of a driveway, making it easier for drivers to park safely and avoid collisions. Some advanced systems also include cross-traffic alert features to warn drivers of approaching vehicles when backing out of a parking spot.
